Watch Me Move: The Animation Show is the most extensive animation show ever mounted, featuring both iconic moments and lesser-known masterpieces from the last 150 years. Visitors will have the rare opportunity to see an incredible array of animation techniques in more than 100 animated film segments from across generations and cultures.

Cette exposition établit des passerelles entre l’histoire de l’animation et des artistes contemporains, c’est une reprise partielle de la grande exposition de Londres.
==> L’intérêt d’artistes contemporains pour Ladislas Starewitch devient un fait important comme l’a déjà montré le film de Julian Schnabel Basquiat réalisé en 1996, ou bien cette exposition conçue par Paolo Colombo In Praise of Shadows présentée aux musées d’Art moderne de Dublin, d’Istanbul et d’Athènes en 2008-2009 où déjà se côtoyaient Lotte Reiniger, Ladislas Starewitch et Kara Walker.
En ce début d’année 2013 Karin Mamma Andersson, artiste suédoise, incluse également un film de L. Starewitch dans une exposition qui présente son œuvre et ses sources d’inspiration. Voir l’exposition STARGAZER au Sven-Harrys art museum de Stockholm .
Ladislas Starewitch n’est pas seulement un cinéaste, il est l’un des grands artistes du vingtième siècle.
